About Digital Marketing Learn Up – NIT PATNA
One of the major problems facing businesses is how to drive traffic to their website. Sure, their website might be the best thing since sliced bread, but no one’s going to metaphorically partake if they don’t see it, right?
In this Learn Up, we taught the NIT students how to do just that. Make people partake of the metaphorical slice of bread.
But How?
By learning how to increase your site’s visibility by optimizing it for search. Search Engine Optimization in other words!
We showed the tricks of the trade and trained them on how to ensure that your website appears high on the list of search results returned.
Venturesity leverage startups and large companies to build their talent community. Venturesity is a platform where you can challenge yourself in order to stand out.
We presented a blend of both online and physical workshop in SEO Learn Up in NIT Patna (National Institute of Technology, Patna), which was very effective for “NITians”.
We also helped them to work on their SEO challenge given by Ms. Hackers & make them understand the impact of digital marketing.
This is one of the good things which we (Candent SEO) did at the beginning of 2016. I am sharing here my personal experience in this blog.
When the dawn breaks I started my day with a nice breakfast and hustled towards NIT PATNA to reach the event venue at the proposed time and somehow I managed to reach on time.
If you are working online, you know it’s a dream to visit the office of companies like Google, Facebook & other tech giants, on the other hand, institutes like IITs & NITs.
Here is how fun and learning amalgamated at Venturesity Ms Hackers by sheplusplus (SHE++) mentored by Candent SEO.

I received a call from Tejaswi Bhavnam representing Ventursity explaining to me about this initiative towards women’s empowerment in Digital India.

Our model of a blend of both online and physical workshops has proven to be very effective for both students and young professionals. As you might know, last year we worked on a similar model for Microsoft. We conducted 26 hack camps in 16 cities and towns across India.
This year, we are rolling it out as a year-long program to enable continuous engagement and broader reach.

Please confirm your availability for the Learn Up in NIT – Patna and provide a brief description about yourself to be put up on the website. The session will start at 10 am and end at 4 pm with an hour break in between. The first half of the session before lunch can be focused on theory and the second half on helping the students to work on the SEO challenge. Let us know your agenda, the topics you would like to cover for the day.

After the confirmation, to mentor the SEO Learn Up Session, she connected me to Divya Upadhaya of NIT Patna.
Divya (Google Student Ambassador){The Girl in the Purple T-Shirt} is a student at National Institute of Technology, Patna, pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. She is also an intern at Google Summer of Code 2015 with Systers.
The entrepreneurial streak in her has led her to co-found hungr.in
The whole aura was just awesome and the students were very co-operative that’s why we also enjoyed to the fullest. The students also enjoyed the seminar and learned a lot from us. We also make them understand the real meaning of digital marketing with some practical examples.
After the completion of session students also gave us some gifts a courtesy which we adored.
Little things that I have learned:
- You are the boss of your life. You can either be a good boss or a failed boss. The choice is yours’!
- You know yourself better when you are on your own.
- Do things that make you happy, rather than doing things just to make others happy.
- Accept your shortcomings, and work to improve them.
- Life is too short to complain, so live it to the fullest.
- People who are part of your life today may not be there tomorrow. So, when you are with them, make the time memorable.
- You can’t make everyone happy, and you don’t need to. Find the people with whom you feel most comfortable, and live life with them like there is no tomorrow.
Be rebellious but don’t be reckless.
